This recipe will turn a cheap spaghetti dinner into a gourmet Italian dish! Since making these meatballs, spaghetti is now one of my families favorite meals! Another way to enjoy these meatballs is to enjoy them as meatball sandwiches! Both meals are sure to be a hit!
This recipe is incredibly easy! All you have to do is add all the ingredients into a bowl....

Shape into meatballs...

Then bake and enjoy!
Italian Meat-a-balls
Makes about 40 meatballs
2 pound ground beef (I use 80% lean)
1/2 cups of Italian bread crumbs
2 eggs
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
2 tsp parsley flakes
1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl
Form into meatballs about an inch and a half in diameter
Slowly cook in a skillet until evenly browned and no longer pink in the center or bake at 450 for 25 minutes.
Storing Extra Meatballs
Because this recipe makes such a large quantity, I portion the meatballs into groups of 10 (because that is normally how many I make with a pot of spaghetti). I wrap them tightly in plastic wrap and freeze them. That way, when I make spaghetti next, all I have to do is defrost them and cook um' up!
Another trick is to cook the meatballs after forming them, throw them in the fridge to cool down, and then put them in a zip-lock bag and put in the freezer. That way when you need a quick meal all you have to do is submerge them in the hot sauce for about 20 minutes and they will defrost.
